selected 茄子影院 as the Construction Manager for the 80,244 SF renovations to Nokomis High School. The two-phase project took place during two summers to eliminate disturbances and relocation of students.
Phase I included the renovation of the classrooms and restrooms in the northern portion of the building (addition built in 1963). Additionally, the interior and exterior doors, gym lighting and baffles, and a walk-in freezer were replaced and the damaged brick, gym roof, and football bleachers were fixed.
Phase II consisted of the complete interior core gut and remodel of the three-story high school (built in the early 1900鈥檚).听 This area included classrooms, a library, and support areas. During demolition, we discovered an existing structural beam supporting the third听floor that did not meet current structural standards.听 Per the drawings, a door opening was supposed to be cut into the beam, which would lessen its bearing capacity.听 To keep the project on schedule and within budget, 茄子影院 worked with the design team to create a new plan, incorporating an additional structural beam to help support the weight of the third听floor and relocating the new doorway to reduce demolition time.
Exterior improvements included a new high school parking lot.
All personnel were required to go through a fingerprint background check to receive authorization to work on the public school property.

茄子影院 did a great job in all aspects of our renovations. They work hard with contractors to ensure quality work, to maintain a time frame, and communicate with all parties on a daily and weekly basis. After working with them for over 2 years, I would highly recommend them for any current and future needs in building construction.
